For two days in June each year, Fort Lytton is transformed into a re-enactment extravaganza. History Alive is run by the Queensland Living History Federation, a federation of over 60 re-enactment groups. Each day at History Alive is a combination of Roman, Viking, Medieval, Napoleonic, Colonial and World War activities to appeal to a wide audience. Colonial dance workshops, Viking cooking demonstrations, historical talks, Medieval Tournaments and WWI battle re-enactors are just a few of the opportunities visitors have to connect with history. Admission fees apply. For dates see Coming Events.
