Gun-firing Re-enactment

There are two separate re-enactments on gun-firing days at Fort Lytton.

  • Muster Parade takes place once in front of the Fort Lytton Historical Association building at about 10:30
  • Gun Firing takes place around the 64pdr RML guns (near the bleachers). Be in place by 10:50, 12:50 and 1:50 for the firings at 11:00, 1:00 and 2:00.

Three guns are usually fired at each re-enactment, two field guns and one 64pdr gun.

Fort Lytton guided tours and tour times are modified to accommodate the re-enactment schedule.
